Altenbokum steps ups for Petra

With the launch of Petra International Export UK, Martin Altenbokum has been appointed as European development director. 

Martin Altenbokum.

Responsible for the strategic direction and penetration of the UK and European markets, Mr Altenbokum was previously managing director of GEA Axima Refrigeration and Climaveneta, and was notably responsible for developing oil free chillers.

'Over the past few months we have been working steadily to develop new business in the UK,' said Mr Altenbokum, 'and we now have a dedicated UK office established in Reading. This is an exciting time for Petra and I am looking forward to leading the company into its next period of growth.

Director of Operations Omar Ali said: 'We are already a highly successful Jordanian company, with a solid foundation in many countries globally. It is now the right time to expand our scope and are highly motivated towards increasing our European footprint.'
