Schott offers a wide range of swing, sliding and automatic doors for chillers, which provides the food retail industry with a differentiating product presentation concept.
At this year's Chillventa exhibition the company is presenting three new door designs, all of which allow improved visibility of products and give the customer a convenient shopping experience.
Schott Termofrost Smart Access is a touchless automatic door opening system. This hygienic and space saving solution as well as the system - Schott Termofrost Smart Look offers 100% transparency and therefore unrestricted product visibility with a frameless design. This is fresher and clearer for customers and retailers can stand out from the competition with improved orientation at the point of sale and create an innovative shopping experience for their customers. Schott also offers transparency for half-height chillers: The SVD sliding door range is available both in curved and flat glass panels and their low height facilitates in-store orientation. A ball-bearing roller ensures gentle opening and closing. All models are functional elements for simple stocking and cleaning.
Dietmar Nilles, head of sales D/A/CH/NL food display at Schott said: 'Chillventa is very important for Schott because it gives us the opportunity to present our new products live and we can interact directly with chiller manufacturers concerning current industry trends and challenges. Regardless of the shop fitting concept, we offer the appropriate solutions and always have our eye on upcoming trends.
“The food retail industry will benefit from our solutions. Closed refrigerated cabinets ultimately have a positive effect on the indoor climate, and with our new transparent doors, the retailer can also create a distinctive shop design.'
