A-Gas International has announced that A-Gas Americas has bought Refri-Claim, the reclamation division of ICOR International.

A certified Environmental Protection Agency refrigerant reclaimer, Refri-Claim has a network of distributor-based exchange centres across the USA, which provide an over-the-counter refrigerant cylinder exchange service for customers.

A-Gas will take over the existing Refri-Claim customer base. All refrigerant cylinder stock, reclamation and refurbishment equipment will be transferred to A-Gas where it be will relocated to its operation in Magnolia, Texas.

Chief executive of A-Gas Americas, Monte Roach, said: “This acquisition is a part of our core strategy of managing the complete lifecycle of refrigerants for our customers. It will allow A-Gas to broaden its footprint and enhance its services’ offering to our wholesale partners, their contractors, end-users and other customers.”
