SMI continues to expand sales team

Paddy moved to South Africa in 1976, and took up a job in the refrigeration industry, before completing two years of national service with the Army.

Paddy Hanson is the latest person to join the expanding sales team at Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI).

The British-born refrigeration, security and manufacturing expert has spent nearly 40 years in South Africa, working with many top-level businesses and agencies. He has now returned to the UK to take on the Midlands sales role with SMI.

Paddy moved to South Africa in 1976, and took up a job in the refrigeration industry, before completing two years of national service with the Army.

He also has experience in the security, defence and insulation industries, working in areas such as sales, quality assurance, project management and export.

Paddy’s appointment is just one part of a major restructure of sales operations at SMI, which is currently looking to expand its network of overseas distributors in the manufacturing, and refrigerated services industries – particularly in mainland Europe.
