Sontay is expanding its global reach by opening a new office in the United Arab Emirates and has appointed Ali Jabr as Middle East area sales manager.
Following significant growth in the region, the new office will ensure Sontay can continue to provide local support, applications advice and excellent service to its customers.
Ali Jabr has 12 years’ experience, having held senior technical and sales positions for international and local companies in Building Management Systems (BMS), automation and low current solutions industries. He replaces John Cameron who is retiring back to the UK after 15 years with the company.
Sontay’s managing director Sandy Damm said: “This is a fantastic growth step for Sontay and shows how our dedication and hard work in the area is coming to fruition. I would like to thank John Cameron for his loyal service and commitment to Sontay, he has built up a great customer network in the Middle East, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.”
The new office is located in the SAIF-Zone and Ali will be travelling around the whole of the Middle East, meeting customers and visiting projects. Ali will be supporting existing accounts as well as growing the business through developing relationships with system integrators, M&E contractors, consultants, OEMs and other specialists within the climate controls and HVAC markets.
