LJJ appoints mechanical contracts manager

LJJ, the building services contractor, has appointed Jeremy Jones as mechanical contracts manager at its newest regional office in Solihull to help drive growth.

LJJ, the building services contractor, has appointed Jeremy Jones as mechanical contracts manager at its newest regional office in Solihull to help drive growth.

Jeremy has 20 years’ experience of mechanical fit out and will be responsible for all aspects of planning and resourcing mechanical installation projects delivered from LJJ’s central office, including quality management and programme scheduling.

His appointment follows rapid growth at LJJ’s Central regional office, which was established to complement the company’s successful Northern and Southern offices in Stockton-on-Tees and High Wycombe.

Working alongside his electrical colleagues, Jeremy will play an active role in delivering current projects across the Midlands, Wales and the South West, which include a £1.1 million scheme for Bouygues at The Edge Alternative Provision Academy in Birmingham, a £2.8 million installation at Maiden Erlegh School in Reading for Kier and a c.£1 million care home project in Oswestry for Willmott Dixon.

Reporting to operations manager, Aaron Swain, contracts manager, John Harris, and regional director, John Daly, he will also be involved in growing the client base of the Central office and continuing to support its existing client base of major contractors on significant projects.
