As part of its strategic growth plan, Bitzer UK has appointed Marcus Levy to the new position of business development director.
Marcus, who joined Bitzer UK last year as training manager, will continue to lead the roll-out of the company’s new training programme while taking responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
He has wide experience of the industry, beginning with Myson Qualitair as a graduate trainee engineer, before moving to sales export manager for Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Portugal and Nigeria.
He played a leading role in the launch of Amcor air conditioning supplier Europe Air Distribution, as business development manager for split systems, before an extended period of service with Lennox in a number of roles, culminating in sales director for the South.
Following stints with chiller specialists ICS and Coolmation, he was appointed general manager of Clivet, before joining Bitzer UK last year.
