Big Foot Systems, part of the Aspen Pumps Group, has announced the internal promotion of Nathan Wood to the position of site engineer.
The company says the appointment will further add to its engineering expertise on site.
Nathan studied mechanical engineering at Oxford Brookes University before joining Big Foot Systems as a project engineer. In this role he undertook project work, seeing it through from design and quotation to fabrication as well as applying technical analysis to these projects including FEA (finite element analysis) and CFD (computational fluid dynamics). He spent almost two years in this role before his new promotion.
Whilst still being involved in project management and analysis, he is now focused on large scale custom projects with more site work, meeting with customers to discuss design and other technical details, as well as carrying out site surveys.
