Advanced Engineering names new sales director

Advanced Engineering has appointed John Barraclough as its new sales director.

Advanced Engineering has appointed John Barraclough as its new sales director.

He joins the company from one of the world’s leading valve actuation companies, where he was responsible for an international sales and support team across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and is a highly experienced sales professional.

John has a background in electronic engineering, initially completing an apprenticeship and gaining an HNC in Electronic Engineering. His career has seen him hold roles of ever increasing responsibility in the areas of engineering, customer support, technical support, internal and external sales and finally sales management.

Advanced Engineering’s chairman Barry Lea said that the appointment comes at a time when the company is looking to expand on its success in the UK and Europe by developing its sales and distribution network worldwide.
