Ziehl-Abegg celebrated its 10th anniversary this month in the company of staff and customers.
More than 120 people attended the event held at the historic Boreham House on 9 December, including representatives from Ziehl-Abegg in Europe and the Mayor of Chelmsford, who congratulated the company on its successful 10 years as part of the community.
Managing director Les Fish thanked the customers for their support and promised 'plenty of great products in the pipeline', while European chairman Peter Fenkl underlined the importance of the customers to the company and said: 'We are just on the doorstep of what we can achieve in the UK.'
Steve Gill of Steve Gill Associates and president-elect of the Institute of Refrigeration was guest speaker and gave his views on energy efficiency and what it means. 'Energy efficiency is a very simple concept,' he said. 'Child's play, in fact. But it has become overcomplicated with statistics and people blinding us all with science.'
Entertainment for the evening came in the form of comedian Bob 'the Cat' Bevan and rock cover band Life In Stereo.
