WR REFRIGERATION was crowned Large Contractor of the Year in front of nearly 500 people at last night's ACR News Awards. The award was recognition of WR's recent initiatives and investments in training, manufacturing and distribution. Essex-based Ceilite Airconditioning took the award for smaller contractors.
Now in its 15th year, last night's glittering occasion confirmed The ACR News Awards as the industry's leading event of its kind. This year hosted brilliantly by tv presenter and comedian Paul Tonkinson at the National Motorcycle Museum, the Awards evening was the culmination of a highly successful day for exhibitors at the adjacent ACR Show at the NEC.
John Emm, a well-known and highly respected figure in the refrigeration sector for nearly 50 years, received the Alan Moor Award for his services to the industry.
