The IRI endorses World refrigeration Day

The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland (IRI) has become the latest body to support World Refrigeration Day on 26 June.

The IRI is a professional membership body that represents refrigeration and air-conditioning professionals in Ireland.

Seamus Kerr, the IRI President said: “The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland welcomes and supports the World Refrigeration Day. Refrigeration and air conditioning play a vital and often unacknowledged role in the wellbeing and health of society. In these days of new technology and with increasing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of refrigeration and air conditioning it is good to celebrate and encourage the efforts of the many involved in this sector. One of the main objectives of the IRI is to work towards improving the quality and standards of refrigeration solutions and having a World Refrigeration day compliments this goal. We look forward to celebrating on June 26th.”

Representing World Refrigeration Day (WRD), Steve Gill said: “This is great news. The Institute of Refrigeration Ireland are a very active group with a knowledgeable and active membership. Their support for WRD involves the industry in Ireland in the celebration.
