This year, the awards scheme has evolved. As the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors respond to the shift towards increased energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact, new products, technologies and platforms have emerged – and the accolades have followed suit, championing the people and businesses that are transitioning alongside the industry and inspiring change through innovation.

New additions to the category line-up include ‘Chiller of the Year’, ‘Heat Pump of the Year’, ‘Retail Product of the Year’, ‘Retail Project of the Year’ and ‘Building Energy Management Project of the Year’, which are set to be judged by an independent panel of industry experts alongside the returning ‘Refrigeration Product of the Year’, ‘Refrigeration Ancillary Product of the Year’, ‘Trainee of the Year’ (sponsored by Hawco) and the ‘Alan Moor Award’ (sponsored by Bitzer).

Also among the returning categories for the 2019 edition are ‘Air Conditioning Product of the Year’ (sponsored by Pacair) and ‘Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year’, which has received the continued backing of sponsor, Hitachi Air Conditioning.
