Sanhua acquires US heat exchanger company

USA: Sanhua, the Chinese air conditioning and refrigeration component supplier, has acquired R- Squared Puckett Inc, the US manufacturer of aluminum heat exchangers, manifolds, and other brazed components.
The company, based in Puckett, Mississippi, has been operating since 1990. From its 80,000ft2 plant, the company supplies a number of well known US oems including Trane, Goodman, Johnson Controls and Emerson.

A statement from Sanhua says: 'We believe that the acquisition is a good fit for both Sanhua and R-Squared. It will strengthen Sanhua's presence in North American Market and grow R-Squared to a new stage.'

The R-Squared Puckett name will be retained and the business run as an independent company.

'We will make sure to keep the operation of R-Squared run normally during the transition and integration,' says Sanhua, 'And we will continue to grow the business and expand the operation with new investment injections to better serve our strategic North America market.'
