Petro-Canada Lubricants assumes management of Suniso brand

Petro-Canada Lubricants, an HF Sinclair brand, has assumed management of the Suniso brand, its trademark and technology, from Sonneborn, and will market and distribute Suniso refrigeration fluids globally.

From September 2024, Petro-Canada Lubricants will market Suniso products through an expanding network of authorised distributors and strategic partners, aiming to significantly extend distribution and improve availability. Petro-Canada Lubricants will continue to offer Suniso GS highly-refined mineral refrigeration fluids and Suniso SL full synthetic refrigeration fluids.

“The Suniso brand has been supplying world-leading refrigeration fluids for more than 90 years and we’re delighted that Petro-Canada Lubricants will be continuing that legacy,” said Matt Joyce, senior vice president, lubricants & specialties at HF Sinclair.

Petro-Canada Lubricants will market the Suniso products alongside its complementary line of refrigeration fluids, REFLO.
