Norref apprentice is Skillbuild's NI winner

AN APPRENTICE from acr firm Norref has won first place at Skillbuild 2010's Northern Ireland finals.
Bryan Craig, who works as a fourth year apprentice for the County Down-based firm Norref, beat rivals in the refrigeration category to the top spot in the contest hosted on May 12-13.

As the winner, the 19 year-old can join the Skillbuild NI team who train and go forward to compete in the UK finals in autumn.

Medal success at national level may also give Bryan the chance to compete for a place on the UK Skills team and at the bi-annual WorldSkills competition.
