New firm Cirrus Energi eyes up UK heatpump potential

CIRRUS Energi is the newly-formed subsidiary of UK ground source heat pump supplier and installer Geothermal International.
Shrewsbury-based Cirrus Energi will concentrate on offering air to water heat pump solutions from 6kW up to 400kW. The company has an exclusive agreement with a major Italian manufacture of air source heat pumps.

Stewart Purchase is the new firm's managing director. Purchase, who has his own renewable energy consultancy, said: 'Its focus will be to offer practical and pragmatic heating and cooling solutions based on air-to-water heat pumps, by giving a comprehensive service to potential customers. We intend to provide low carbon solutions with low running costs and to champion the use of air source technologies that, in my opinion, have a huge potential in every sector'.
