Major contractor in takeover talks

CHESHIRE-based contractor Worthington Nicholls is understood to be in take-over talks with two UK companies and is looking into the possibility of acquiring two further targets. Earlier this year, the firm bought Project Air for £4.6.
Chief executive Mark Worthington previously announced his intention to invest the £6m raised by the company's floatation in June on expanding the business. Since floatation, the company has seen its share price double.

Established in 1973, Worthington Nicholls carries out air conditioning maintenance and installation and has announced intentions to become one of the leading players in the hvac sector.
