Kershaw Mechanical Services welcomes new operations director

Cambridge-based building services firm, Kershaw Mechanical Services, has appointed Luke Ashton as its new operations director.

Mr Ashton joins the business with nearly 30 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, and project and contract management. He has previous worked as a pre-construction director and in senior account management positions with two national contractors.

Working closely with managing director, Gary Smith, and sales and estimating director, Ian Greenstock, Mr Ashton will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and will call on his sound relationships with main contractors in order to look at future contract opportunities and encourage repeat business.

Mr Smith said: “We are very pleased to have Luke join Kershaw Mechanical Services; he has a wealth of experience in the field and his extensive background in project and contract management will significantly strengthen our delivery capability.”

Mr Ashton said: “I’m delighted to be joining Kershaw Mechanical Services. The company is at an exciting stage in its growth, and I’m looking forward to helping drive its ongoing success.”
