IQ REFRIGERATION, the recently launched specialist design and project management company, has appointed well-known industry figure Ben Brown to the senior management team
Ben Brown, immediate past president of the British Refrigeration Association and a past president of FETA, is IQ Refrigeration's sales and marketing director.
Brown joins former Sainsbury’s men Nick Rivers, design director, and Roger Borer, non-executive director, at the East Grinstead-based company.
Ben Brown said: “After a period in air conditioning country, it’s great to be back in mainstream refrigeration.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of helping to take IQR forward, and working with enthusiastic team to make it happen.”
IQ Refrigeration is already working on a number of major projects, including designs for carbon dioxide-based refrigeration solutions. The firm sees a major opportunity for the industry in relation to the impending phase-out of R22 refrigerant, given the significant amount of R22-based plant still in use.
