A DEBATE on whether or not a tax on HFCs based on its Global Warming Potential (GWP) would benefit the acr industry is to take place this October.
Hosted by the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR) at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the arguments for and against such a tax will be heard from 5.15pm on October 8.
Arguing for the tax is an IoR past president Ray Gluckman & Robert Heap, also an IoR past president and the current president of the Science and Technology council at the International Institute of Refrigeration.
Retired acr industry veteran John Morley and the managing director of Grenco Refrigeration David Bostock will be speaking up against the tax.
