Hubbard drives transport refrigeration business

HUBBARD Products has opened a transport refrigeration service centre in Chorley, Lancashire and is also expanding its business by establishing a West Midlands sales and admin site.
The 4,000 sq ft Chorley site offers full installation and maintenance services for the complete range of Hubbard and Zanotti vehicle refrigeration systems and will be a base for Hubbard engineers.

Aimed at meeting the needs of customers in the north west, the Chorley site will offer installation packages for commercial vehicle bodybuilders and dealers as well as providing a full servicing programme.

The company says the sales and administration facility will offer more growth opportunities for Hubbard, by drawing on the engineering skills that are now becoming available as general engineering firms seek to downsize and release highly qualified personnel onto the jobs market.

Pat Maughan, managing director of Hubbard products said 'The West Midlands is an ideal location from which to develop our international business, with the exchange rate in favour of exporters, the opportunities for Hubbard Products in developing new approaches to static and mobile refrigeration and chilling equipment is one which we are keen to seize.'
