HRS and IOR to hold Technical Breakfast Briefing

The Hampshire Refrigeration Society (HRS) is inviting industry to its next meeting, to be held in conjunction with the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) on Tuesday 29 January at the premises of acr training specialist Business Edge.

The Technical Breakfast Briefing will start at 08:15am with refreshments on arrival, sponsored by Samsung Air Conditioning UK.

The timetable for the event is as follows:

08:15: Coffee, tea and bacon rolls sponsored by Samsung Air Conditioning UK
08:45: Welcome and introduction from Mike Creamer of Business Edge 
09:00: Introduction from the Hampshire Refrigeration Society and the Institute of Refrigeration
09:15: Martindale Electrical ‘toolbox talk’ by Rob Thomas, who will present ‘Safe electrical isolation to save lives’. An ideal discussion for engineers and electricians to attend.
09:30: Honeywell Refrigerants’ Robert Kebby will present ‘Reducing the environmental impact’ and also discuss N41 - R466A, as well as other interesting developments for the acr side of the business.
09:50: Mark Scott of TQ Environmental will discuss ‘Refrigerant leak detection and fixed gas monitoring systems overview’. He will also cover the importance of service and maintenance and responsibilities.
10:20: Q&A and an open forum
