Future refrigeration: suggestions sought on the way forward

FOLLOWING on from its successful collaboration with the British Refrigeration Association and the Carbon Trust in putting together the Retail Refrigeration Road Map project, the Institute of Refrigeration is now looking for input from members to help develop a strategy for sustainable low carbon refrigeration in the future.
A task force from the IoR, the British Refrigeration Association and the Carbon Trust is developing a framework strategy and setting up working groups on key issues such as skills for the future; effective energy assessment models; recycling and reuse of equipment and industry-led safety matters.

The Institute is seeking suggestions on key topics - both short term and long term - that should be identified as part of this work programme and offers to be involved in moving topics forward.

Contact miriam@ior.org.uk with suggestions by 12th October.
