FSW launches CO2 training with Business Edge

FSW, in partnership with Business Edge, the specialist acr training centre, now offers a one-day CO2 training course concentrating on FSW’s new range of Profroid QuietCOOL CO2 packaged condensing units.

Intended to enable technicians to plan and undertake installation and commissioning of transcritical condensing units, the course is open to all F-Gas qualified technicians that hold a current certificate.

Course content includes hazards and safe handling of R744; theoretical understanding of transcritical refrigeration systems; jointing and pressure testing K65 pipe; installation, testing, charging and commissioning of the Profroid Quietcool condensing units, including the Carel controller; and servicing and maintenance of QuietCOOL CO2 units.

Training is carried out on the Profroid CO2 Condensing Unit coupled with Searle CO2 Evaporator.

Following completion of the course, detailed notes will be provided for each candidate alongside a certificate of competency issued by Logic Certification.

Courses are available to book at a cost of £350.00 +VAT, including lunch and refreshments, and are taking place on 27 September, 25 October and 15 November 2018. Training is located in Portsmouth, Hampshire at the Business Edge Training Centre.
