EMS recognises the importance of training

EMS says that training is an integral part of its business strategy and continues to invest in a programme for engineers and staff working for the company.

Several of its engineers have recently trained in gas certification and are registered with Gas Safe, which means it can now also offer heating services to its customers.

One of the firm’s apprentices, Elliot Jones, has just received his City & Guilds 2850 Level 3 Diploma in Engineering – Maintenance, installation and commissioning.

Managing director Alan Meredith said: 'We feel training our engineers and employees is an integral part of our business. Legislation is ever changing and we need to maintain our competitive advantage, the training we invest in is one of the ways that we can achieve this.

'And finally all of our engineers attended an Asbestos Awareness training course this month to update their Asbestos Awareness UKATA certificates.'

EMS designs, installs and maintains air conditioning, process cooling and heating for a wide variety of organisations and businesses in the commercial and industrial sectors. Its project and engineering teams deliver our services nationwide via its offices in Hereford and Southampton.
