Effective decarbonisation driven by Daikin’s new R32 heat recovery solution

Heating and power currently account for 40% of the UK’s total energy usage, and if the UK is to meet its net-zero target by 2050, the utilisation of energy-efficient appliances will be crucial. Modern demands from homes and buildings require heat recovery solutions that support decarbonisation in the UK while also ensuring that they don’t have a detrimental impact on the environment.

Daikin’s R32 VRV 5 Heat Recovery Solution was purpose-designed to decarbonise homes and buildings, while also assuring that a healthy and comfortable environment is attained. The Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) technology which was first developed by Daikin over 40 years ago, is a climate control system that reduced both the direct and indirect environmental impact of appliances, something which the R32 hones in on.

A key consideration of the appliances is the management and control of the refrigerant, something with Daikin’s Shîrudo Technology allows for. The ability to integrate climate control into small rooms and spaces with any additional considerations offers complete peace of mind that the technology is working at an optimal level around the home. Shîrudo Technology comprises a number of factory-integrated refrigerant control measures, and additional safety features like refrigerant leak detection extend the benefits of the technology even further.

The support provided by Daikin for VRV 5 Heat Recovery products is second to none, offering a wide range of tools that make system design and selection a breeze. Additionally, Daikin also provides full project and technical support through its expansive expert teams.

The effective and expedited decarbonisation of buildings must be made a priority now, and a combination of performance developments and Daikin’s technologies is the ideal solution for projects that have crucial environmental impact issues.

The Daikin VRV 5 Heat Recovery units will be available from July 2022. For more information visit https://www.daikin.co.uk/VRV5HR
