COPELAND'S Digital Scroll technology has been given 'world leading technology' status by the Chinese Ministry of Construction

COPELAND'S Digital Scroll technology has been given 'world leading technology' status by the Chinese Ministry of Construction - the first time in seven years that any new technology in China has received this top designation.
Emerson is introducing the new technology in China where a booming housing market, rising energy consumption and environmental concerns have created demand for energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.

GREE, a leading HVAC equipment manufacturer in China, will use Copeland Digital Scroll Heating technology in a new cold-weather heat pump system for multi-unit dwellings that it plans to introduce in early 2006. The 'world leading' designation paves the way for heat pump systems with Copeland Digital Scroll Heating to be used in government-supported projects to promote energy efficiency. Emerson Climate Technologies is also working with other Chinese manufacturers to apply the new technology to non-digital scroll compressors used in conventional heat pumps and air conditioners.
