Under the deal, Carter Synergy will be able to offer its customers a range of CO2 options. These encompass small condensing units for chillers and freezers used in restaurants, convenience stores, and petrol stations for example, through to major refrigeration installations, heat pumps for cooling and heating large public and private buildings and systems designed to be suitable for industrial cooling processes.

'We offer the widest range of green refrigeration products on the market, and supply refrigeration equipment worldwide. This partnership with Carter Synergy now means we have a strong partner in the UK market,' commented Stig-Göran Lind, Green & Cool's business director.

'By adding Green & Cool's high quality products and in-depth expertise to our range we can now offer our customers even better opportunities to improve their environmental awareness while improving system economy,' added Carter Synergy contracts director Geoff Mills.

In recent years, Carter Synergy has gained significant experience designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining CO2 systems. Its portfolio of work ranges from convenience stores through supermarkets and wholesalers to industrial applications. A company statement said it intended to use the new partnership to offer an improved, more environmentally friendly solution to current and prospective clients across all of these sectors.
