Carrier Rental Systems (UK), Ltd, one of the UK’s leading temperature control rental specialists, has acquired Watkins Hire as part of its long-term growth strategy.
Carrier Rental Systems operates a nationwide rental service for high-performance chillers, air handling units, heaters and boilers, and works with related businesses in the UK, SLD Pumps & Power and Toshiba Carrier UK, to offer a complete service for industry, buildings and events. It is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Watkins Hire supplies specialist temperature control rental equipment focused on steam boilers, heating and hot water boilers, air conditioning and chillers for temperature control projects across the UK. With headquarters in Lydney, Gloucestershire, the firm has branches in the midlands and north of England, as well as Scotland, and operates a specialist division to provide equipment for major events.
