Carel appoints Paolo Faraldi as group chief technology officer

On 1 October this year, Paolo Faraldi joined Carel as the new group chief technology officer. This strategic appointment reflects the group’s commitment to strengthening the scope and development of its technical areas, with the aim of increasing the integration and coordination of its technological processes.

Paolo Faraldi brings to the group more than 20 years of experience acquired at leading international companies, such as Fiat, Indesit, Philips and Electrolux, both in Italy and abroad. In this new role, he will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Carel’s technical and digital projects, with the aim of fostering synergy and product development across all areas. This appointment is a key part of Carel’s strategy, which has always been centred around research, technology and development: constant analysis and adoption of new technologies are part of the group’s consolidated research and development process.

Giandomenico Lombello, Carel group managing director, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Paolo Faraldi. His experience and vision will be fundamental in guiding Carel in facing new technological challenges and maintaining our leadership in the market.”
