WITHIN days of the announcement of the ACR Show 2012, this exciting new event has already attracted stand bookings from a number of leading refrigeration and air conditioning equipment suppliers including leading wholesaler Thermofrost Cryo and top refrigeration service tools supplier Javac UK.
'We have been delighted, and a little humbled, by the fantastic reaction that this event has already received from the industry,' said exhibition organizer Jan Thorpe. 'This has underlined our conviction that the air conditioning and refrigeration industry deserves its own show and that the industry will support it,' she added.
The ACR Show 2012 is the new dedicated exhibition for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry and will take place at the
National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, from 13-15 March 2012. The exhibition, which will also include one of the largest seminar programmes ever mounted in two separate auditoriums, will take place in hall 19 of the NEC. Other features, including a heat pump arena, are also planned.
The decision to launch the ACR Show follows EMAP's cancellation of the RAC show scheduled for March next year and transferred to October alongside its Building Environment Solutions and Technologies (BEST) event.
'We are currently in discussion with a number of key industry groups regarding this event and further information will be released as soon as we are able,' said Jan Thorpe, 'We have an experienced team in place here who are determined to make this one of the best industry events ever staged,' she added.
Commenting on his company's decision to exhibit, Thermofrost Cryo md Philip Sloper said: 'We believe the UK industry needs a local showcase for its wares and we are very happy to support this venture.
'Another influencing factor in our decision is that the ACR Show is backed by
ACR News magazine,' he added.
