THE AREA general assembly has elected Graeme Fox to the post of president at its spring meeting in Krakow on May 8.
Fox, representing the RACG, has been on the board of AREA (Air conditioning, Refrigeration European Association) for several years. He also chairs the task force on the F-Gas Review and is a regular blogger for this website.
Three new delegates joined the AREA board. The board now consists of:

Vice-president Marco Buoni (ATF, Italy)
Past president Gerhard Neuhauser (ÖKKV, Austria)
Treasurer Frank Heuberger (BIV, Germany)
Director Per Jonasson (KYL, Sweden)
Director Philippe Roy (SNEFCCA, France)
Per Vemork (VKE, Norway) has stepped down from the board.
Graeme said it was 'both an honour and a challenge to succeed Gerhard Neuhauser'. He went on to say the new board 'will strive to achieve [the members'] ambitions for a stronger and more effective AREA in supporting contractors' issues at European level'.
AREA, established in 1988, is the European association of national acr contractor associations. It has a membership of more than 9,000 companies in Europe.
