Government to reform the TUPE regulations

The DTI has launched a consultation on draft
regulations to update the Transfer of Undertakings
(Protection of Employment) Regulations 1981 (TUPE),
to improve protection for employees and helping
business by reducing transactions costs when
companies change ownership.

Caravell in £9.8m MBO

COMMERCIAL refrigerator distributor Caravell UK, has
been the subject of a £9.8m management buy-out out
from its Danish parent, Caravell A/S Demark. The
purchase includes Caravell UK's 100,000ft2 freehold
premises in Buckingham.
