Lord Maude, the Minister for Trade and Investment, has visited A-Gas at Portbury, near Bristol, to hear about the company’s success in exporting products overseas.
A-Gas is a leading supplier of refrigerants in the UK, Australia and South Africa and has state of the art storage, blending and packaging facilities in Bristol, Cape Town and Melbourne. The company is also rapidly growing its market share in Asia and the Americas.
The minister was given a presentation on the progress that A-Gas is making in the overseas markets followed by a tour of the company’s laboratory, filling operations and refrigerant reclamation areas.
Joining him on the visit was Russell Jones, international trade director for the South West Region, and Paul Abley of UK Trade and Investment South West.
