Möhlenhoff opens new Polish site

Möhlenhoff, the German heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions specialist, is continuing to expand.

The company has founded a new production site in Opole in Poland. This will strengthen its international presence further and allow it to manufacture on-site when catering for its local markets.

At its Salzgitter site, in Germany, Möhlenhoff manufactures products for its European and international markets, including China and the USA. Here it produces the majority of its thermal actuators. However, it also has certain products manufactured in China in accordance with German quality standards in order to meet price demands.

The new site in Opole boots the company’s continued growth in Eastern Europe. In the medium term, around 15 employees are expected to work in the new factory where they will produce small runs of actuators.

By opening this new site in the historical capital of Upper Silesia, Möhlenhoff says it is responding to the dynamic rate of market change experienced over the last few years and setting its sights on continued growth. It is also further increasing the flexibility of its production activities and strengthening its competitive position in the global market. This will also bring benefits to the 200-plus employees working at headquarters in Salzgitter.
