J S Wright recognises suppliers with awards

A specialist pump distributor in Wolverhampton has been named Supplier of the Year by leading building services provider J S Wright for the seventh year running.

GM Treble received the engraved Perspex trophy in an awards lunch ceremony held by the Aston-based company at Cucina Rustica in Birmingham.

GM Treble director, Nigel Marriott, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this accolade for the seventh year in succession. We have established a long and successful association with J S Wright who are always a pleasure to work with.”

GM Treble and J S Wright, which also has offices in Bristol and London, signed a sole supplier agreement with Grundfos Pumps last year for the design, delivery and installation of all pumps and accessories to ensure that J S Wright’s clients receive continuous high quality and consistent value for money.

Birmingham-based Direct Control Systems and Woking-based SAV Systems also received trophies after being named Sub-Contractor of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year respectively by J S Wright for the second year running.

SAV Systems, which designs and builds energy efficient low-cost district hot water systems and centralised energy centres with the support of its Danish industrial partner Danfoss, has worked with J S Wright successfully for ten years and strengthened its partnership last year with an invitation to work with SAV and Danfoss on new product development. SAV Systems also hosted a three-day industrial visit to Danfoss and EC Power in Denmark by J S Wright’s apprentices.

Wolseley Pipe Center in Leamington Spa and R&M Fixings & Supports in Southampton were J S Wright Supplier of the Year finalists, and ventilation specialist AV Group in Bolton and insulation firm Denco Thermal in Solihull were Sub-Contractor of the Year runners-up. Colchester-based ventilation and window hardware specialist Titon and water tank maker Dewey Waters in Weston-super-Mare were Manufacturer of the Year finalists.

Managing director of J S Wright, Marcus Aniol, said: “The winners have shown outstanding levels of product service, delivery and quality and helped us create new benchmarks in collaboration.”

He added: “The support that we receive from our suppliers has been a key contributor to our success as we look to build on our reputation as one of the UK’s leading mechanical and electrical building services providers for the first time this year as a £50million business.”
