i4 Technology from Aspen Pumps

From humble beginnings as a small scale UK manufacturer, Aspen Pumps has risen to be a global leader in condensate removal pumps.

From humble beginnings as a small scale UK manufacturer, Aspen Pumps has risen to be a global leader in condensate removal pumps.

For more than four years Aspen Pumps has been working on a project that it says will take the HVAC/R industry by storm. It has taken the time to really listen to what engineers want and has applied that knowledge in creating the first intuitive technology available in condensate removal - built within the DNA of a pump.

The company says that its latest breakthrough technology “will revolutionise the industry for years to come and will become the recognised standard of quality when buying a pump”. It says that there has never previously been a technology built within a pump that can control water flow, pump speed, sound and voltages at the same time, while informing installers about the correct installation and fault diagnostics. From the first trials of this new technology to where the company is today – i4 technology has taken Aspen Pumps on a journey which it says has led it to create the future of installations.

Developed by the company’s in-house team of engineers and programmers, it brings together four state of the art technologies which work in unison to bring users what it says are “the smartest pumps on the market”. Pulse technology gives a visual indication about correct installation of the pump; Hydrotech collects data and adjusts switching levels and fully variable motor speed, depending on the flow rate. The in-built Silent+ and Univolt technology means the pump is controlled on demand so that i4 Technology offers a ‘soft start’ as standard, leading to truly quiet running.

These four intuitive technologies all work together harmoniously to provide a total system approach. Installers will wonder how they ever lived without it, the company says.
