Fujitsu, has joined forces with TF Solutions to open a new training facility dedicated to the air-conditioning sector at TF Solutions’ Burton-on-Trent branch.

Speaking at the opening day, Ian Carroll, Fujitsu’s sales and marketing director said: “We are delighted to be opening this new training centre here in the Midlands. We are committed to training to help raise standards throughout the industry and have invested heavily in our state of the art training facilities in Elstree, Dublin and now Burton-on-Trent.

“Training, like every other service we provide, needs to be relevant, current, high quality and most importantly assessable. It is with this last point in mind, that we proud to have listened to the market and opened a training centre that is easier for those in the Midlands and the North to attend.”

The new training centre was officially opened on 19th October by managing director of TF Solutions, Mike Sanderson, with IOR President, Steve Gill, in attendance.

Mike said: “We have a long partnership with Fujitsu and are pleased to collaborate with them to bring a dedicated training centre to our customers in the Midlands and beyond.

IOR president Steve Gill said: “Coming from the Midlands myself, I am personally delighted that Fujitsu and TF Solutions have partnered to make the training centre here at Burton possible. Having a local centre will enable more to attend. The IOR supports and encourages skills development through training, so I am very pleased to be able to be here today to see these excellent well equipped training facilities.”

Andy Cherrill, TF Solutions Director based at Burton said: “There has already been a lot of initial interest in the new Training Centre and we’re looking forward to rolling out a number of courses in the near future.
