The move follows a notable year for the company, which saw the launch of its Modular Highline 275 fan coil range and continued industry recognition, including an HVR Award for Air Conditioning Product of the Year. The Modular Highline platform now holds two major industry awards, reflecting growing interest in modular, energy-efficient fan coil systems.
Cooper brings more than two decades of experience in building services and construction, with a background in working alongside consultants, contractors and architects. His remit includes strengthening Diffusion’s presence in London, broadening UK market reach and supporting the rollout of a new fan coil concept expected this spring.
Speaking about his appointment, Cooper said he was joining a business with “a strong legacy and depth of expertise,” adding that the forthcoming product launch would “make a real impact across a wide range of applications.”
Alexis Roberts, Channel Marketing Manager at Diffusion, said Cooper’s industry relationships and customer-focused approach would support the company as it continues to expand its product offering and respond to increasingly complex project requirements.
Diffusion’s current priorities include addressing sector-wide challenges such as overheating in new-build homes, refurbishment of ageing commercial stock and the growing emphasis on embodied carbon. The company’s modular fan coil ranges are designed to support precise specification and long-term adaptability, an approach that has gained traction among consultants and architects.
