Climalife hosts customer event

More than 40 acr professionals attended the day as Climalife kept customers up to date on current refrigerant gas issues. Topics included high GWP refrigerants and their waste management, an EN378 update and handling A2L refrigerants.

Following a successful event in Leeds, Climalife (IDS Refrigeration) held a customer event at the Celtic Manor on 29th March.

More than 40 acr professionals attended the day as Climalife kept customers up to date on current refrigerant gas issues. Topics included high GWP refrigerants and their waste management, an EN378 update and handling A2L refrigerants.

Managing director Alan Harper opened the event saying: 'The honeymoon period for F-Gas is over and we're dealing with F-Gas properly now - we're married to it.'

Technical director at Climalife Peter Dinnage (pictured) spoke about the urgency of moving away from new R404A equipment and towards low GWP refrigerant alternatives. “Putting new R404A equipment onto the market is using up quota that servicing R404A requires,” he said.
