Sussex-based Big Foot Systems has been shortlisted in this year’s ACR News Awards for its new Lock ‘n’ Load frame.

Sussex-based Big Foot Systems has been shortlisted in this year’s ACR News Awards for its new Lock ‘n’ Load frame.

The innovative product, a freestanding, non-penetrative frame designed to support mini split outdoor air conditioning units, has been nominated in the Air Conditioning Ancillary Product of the Year category.

Sam Birch, product manager at Big Foot Systems, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted in these important industry awards and to have gained recognition for this innovative new product. The Lock ‘n’ Load Frame is a great addition to our range of non-penetrative support systems and accelerates the speed of on-site air conditioning installation as well as simplifying the installation process by removing the need to fabricate a support on site.”

The ACR News Awards 2017 winners will be announced at a glamorous gala dinner on 23rd March 2017, held at the 5* Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London. The awards celebrate innovation in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector, rewarding companies that demonstrate excellence in the way they operate or in what they produce. Established over 20 years ago, the ACR News Awards were the first magazine awards established in the ACR industry and the event is an important date on the industry calendar. Awards are hotly contested and attract a high calibre of entry, each of which are judged by a panel of industry experts.
