AirSource Ventilation celebrates five years

AirSource Ventilation, the manufacturer of heat pumps and other products for commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning, is celebrating its first five years in business.

Based in Eccles, Manchester, AirSource says its success is a direct result of working closely with customers, developing innovative technologies for a variety of applications including healthcare, retail, education and hotels.

The company was founded by Dave Clayton, Alex Pinchbeck and Andrew Pinchbeck in October 2010. Within the first month of trading they won an order worth a quarter of a million pounds. The company now boasts a turnover of £4m and a 40-strong workforce, with five jobs created so far this year, including one apprentice and two young trainees.

Managing director, Dave Clayton, said: 'Our reputation has been built on providing engineered solutions to meet current environmental issues. We are continuing to increase capacity and have recently invested £300,000 in machinery and prototype testing.'

'We are committed to supplying equipment to reduce energy and global warming potential (GWP) and are developing products to meet the demands of the latest GWP regulations relating to refrigerant gases.

He continued: 'With the winning combination of a professional team and a unique product base we aim to dramatically increase sales in the UK, particularly in the South and are looking to export our products in the future.'
