World Skills UK squad selection for refrigeration

The WSUK Squad Selection Competition for skill 38 - Refrigeration will take place at the Central College Nottingham from 10 to 12 June 2014.

The competition is designed to test the practical skills and knowledge along with problem solving skills connected to the acr industry. After hours of focused training, four apprentice competitors will be tested in areas which include pipe work fabrication, component location, electrical component installation, electrical system testing, commissioning and adjustment, refrigerant recovery and emission control, electrical fault finding and repair, safe working practise.

The competitors selected as squad members going forward will receive further training leading to team selection event in 2015.
