Waterloo Air Products helps The Monument Building

“We have vast experience of providing large amounts of products to similar projects. We understand the importance each and every air distribution product plays in achieving the architect’s vision of a modern building which provides a productive working environment.”

Waterloo Air Products has supplied more than a kilometre of its advanced air distribution products throughout The Monument Building – an impressive new commercial development in Central London.

Waterloo’s products help to make sure the air throughout the building provides a comfortable working environment for everyone.

Neighbouring the iconic Monument to The Great Fire of London and opening 350 years after the historic event, the new 10-storey development boasts over 94,000sqft of office and retail space. Built by Skanska and designed by Make Architects, the building sets high standards in design and sustainability.

To meet both the air diffusion and architectural requirements, Waterloo supplied almost 3,000 products for the development including Linear Slot Diffusers, Plenum Boxes and Exhaust Valves. The building has been designed to give occupants a working environment that brings the best out of them and air distribution and control plays an important role.

On each floor of the building, Waterloo air distribution units have been slotted seamlessly into the ceiling adjacent to ceiling tiles to provide an aesthetically pleasing look. The air distribution units have been fitted strategically throughout the building to provide the correct air tightness.

“The Monument Building is designed to enhance the working lives of the people inside, putting their comfort first,” explains Ron Edmondson, managing director, Waterloo Air Products.

“Like with all large scale projects, The Monument Building requires the right air distribution to provide economical savings and have a positive impact on the people who work inside.

“We have vast experience of providing large amounts of products to similar projects. We understand the importance each and every air distribution product plays in achieving the architect’s vision of a modern building which provides a productive working environment.”
