Voltas now top ac brand in India

India: Indigenous manufacturer Voltas has now overtaken Korean brands LG and Samsung as the major air conditioning supplier in India.
Part of the giant Tata group, Voltas's market share in July reached 21%, according to a report by GFK Nielsen Retail. At the same time, former market leader LG's market share dropped from 19.6% in March to 14.6% in July and Samsung 's plunged from 17.8% to 9.3% over the same period.
