US air-conditioner and heatpump shipments down

US factory shipments of central air-conditioners and air-source heat pumps have fallen 15.8%, reports the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).
The AHRI said the combined US factory shipments of central air-conditioners and air-source heat pumps for the year-to-date totalled 4,239,126, a 15.8% drop, when compared with the same period last year.

For the year-to-date, heat pump shipments totalled 1,332,911, a 14% drop compared with the same period last year.
