Trimco Coolair changes name to Abanta

REFRIGERATED display equipment distributor Trimco Coolair Ltd is to be rebranded Abanta. The move comes following the recent announcement by Trimco Coolair1s Portuguese parent company, Trimco EF, that it had appointed Phoenix Retail Services, an independent company as exclusive UK agent for its products.
The unprecedented move left Stockport-based Trimco Coolair as a subsidiary of Trimco EF but unable to use the Trimco logo.

Talking to ACR News, Trimco Coolair md John Jarvis said that the rebranding would 'clear up confusion in the marketplace.'

The Abanta brand will now be applied to all products and marketing campaigns with the company trading name changing in the near future.

'The new brand will allow trade dealers to differentiate products and lines from the original Trimco branded products,' added John Jarvis.

The company will continue to operate from its Stockport office and all contact details will remain the same.

As part of the rebrand the catalogue will grow with the introduction of new products, expanded lines and dealer focused partnerships.

Trimco Coolair has been in existence for nearly 40 years, originally as Cosalt Coolair before the name change to Trimco Coolair in the late 80s.
