Toshiba banks on Lloyd's ACG

RON Lloyd's Air Conditioning Group (ACG) which purchased the assets of his former firm SMW, has been appointed as a distributor for Toshiba.
Toshiba banks on Lloyd
Operating from Bridgwater and Leeds offices, Air Conditioning Group has been appointed as an exclusive distributor for the south west of England and the midlands.

This is a familar move for ACG boss Ron Lloyd, who worked as managing director of SWM which was a Toshiba distributor from 1984-1997.

The south west and midlands is where the initials for SWM stemmed. Ron Lloyd's experience in these regions has resulted in the new ACG agreement which comes exactly 25 years after SWM signed its distribution deal with Toshiba.

ACG will distribute all Toshiba's ac range from its small wall mounted units to its largest VRF multiple units.

ACG plans to open a a new office near Birmingham and a new depot.

SWM had a £14m turnover of Toshiba products when SWM stopped distributing its products in 1997.
