THE unitary air conditioning industry's top two manufacturers are going head-to-head in a move to make the highly popular VRF technology available in R410A, water-cooled versions.

Mitsubishi Electric has announced new versions of its City Multi WR2 VRF system and VRV pioneer Daikin has countered with the introduction of its own water-based R410A system, VRV-WII.
